November 14th, 2007
Mary Buckman’s sculpture entitled “Ancestor” has been selected for the 75th Annual National Sculpture Society Exhibition.
“Ancestor” represents our relatives from the distant past and how human beings are connected to each other. The circular shape of the relief depicts eternity, no beginning or end.
Mary Buckman’s “Ancestor” piece will be on view at National Sculpture Society’s headquarters at the Park Avenue Atrium in New York City from February 18 - May 30, 2008 before it travels to Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina from June 28 - August 24, 2008.
